Our slide decks were created with place-holder pages where you can enter information about yourself and your organization, as well as pictures and local data.  This means that It is not possible to simply open a slide deck and give your presentation, because the place holder pages will appear. Instead, you will need to download the slide deck and make a copy before editing and presenting it.

Information about how to do that is below:

Download your own copy (required for everyone)

1. Open the slide link provided.

2. Click the Download icon (down arrow) in the top right corner
   OR select File → Download.

3. Choose Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx).

4. The file will save to your computer.

5. Open the downloaded file and customize the placeholder slides.

If you have a Google (Gmail) account

You still need to download the file — do not present directly from the link.

After downloading, you can:

• Edit using Microsoft PowerPoint

• Upload the file back into your Google Drive if you prefer to work online

 

If you do NOT have a Google account

You can still download the slides — no sign-in required.

1. Open the link.

2. Select Download or File → Download → Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx).

3. If prompted to sign in, look for Continue without signing in or try another browser.

 

If you do NOT have PowerPoint on your computer

You can still edit and present the slides using free options:

 

Option 1 — Use Google Slides (free, browser-based)

1. Download the PowerPoint file first.

2. Upload the file into Google Drive.

3. Open it with Google Slides to edit and present.

 

Option 2 — Use free presentation software
You can open and edit the file with:

• LibreOffice Impress

• Apple Keynote (Mac users)

 

Important Tips

• Replace placeholder text and images with your own content.

• Save your customized version with a new filename.

• Download the final version to your computer before presenting.

• Bring a backup copy on a USB drive if possible.
